1. What Information We Collect

  • Media You Provide: We only access the specific images & videos you choose to upload for caption generation. We do not access your entire photo library. Enfluensr does not store any images or videos, these are sent to Gemini LLMs to process and generate captions.
  • Generated Captions: We handle the text captions created based on your images and videos and store them in our database. However, we remove all user specific information or any media used to generate them. LLMs may use these for training purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  1. When you select an image or a video, it is sent securely to a third-party service, Google's Gemini API, for analysis.
  2. The Gemini API processes the image or a video and generates a relevant caption.
  3. The generated caption is sent back to your device and displayed within the app.

3. Our Use of Google's Gemini API

  • Service: We use the free "Flash" model of Google's Gemini API to provide captioning.
  • Data Usage by Google: According to Google's Gemini API Additional Terms of Service, content submitted to their free services, including images, may be used by Google to improve and develop their products and machine learning technologies.
  • Human Review: Google may have human reviewers analyze images and captions. Google disconnects the data from your personal account and other identifiers to protect your privacy.
  • Data Retention: Google may retain the data for up to 18 months.

4. Data Sharing

Except for our use of the Google Gemini API as described above, we will not sell, distribute, or lease your images or generated captions to any other third parties unless required by law.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the images and videos you provide during upload and download. However, no electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

By using our app, you consent to the collection and use of your images and videos as described in this Privacy Policy.
